This title was originally released in April 2024.

I was the Narrative Lead and also took on some Audio Designer tasks towards the end of development. This was my first time leading a team and it was a steer learning curve, but I came out of the experience with invaluable knowledge that I otherwise wouldn't have gained.

My responsibilities included:

  • Leading weekly meetings

  • Writing and implementing narrative

  • Writing scripts

  • Task tracking

I was in charge of writing the Guide of Demon Activity, a book designed to act as the tutorial and reference guide for the players. There were also some pages of lore added in. This was a key part of the game, so it was essential that it went through several drafts and it ended up with a severe overhaul to ensure good player experience and readability.

I also wrote the voice lines and was present for the recording sessions with our main voice actress and additional voice cast, even lending my own voice to some lines.

This title was originally released in May 2023.

I worked as an Audio Designer. My team consisted of only me and the lead, so communication was excellent between us and we worked much faster than the other teams could keep up with.

My responsibilities included:

  • Sourcing audio clips

  • Assisting with voice over

  • Implementing audio and cues

My favourite thing to work on was the morse code puzzle, I had to time the buzzing to the lights that the gameplay team created. I used blueprinting as the project was made in Unreal Engine 4, and this was my first true experience with the engine. This was also my first experience working in a studio environment, I learnt a lot about communication and team work, as well as how to navigate through some challenges. We had limited/bad communication with other teams and everyone had underdeveloped soft and hard skills, which meant we were overestimating or underestimating our abilities and capabilities.
